Station Philosophy

To give to listeners the finest blend of traditional Hausa music, Nigeria Top 40 music and international top 40 stars, while we sustain listenership with breaking news, eyewitness accounts and hourly news updates.

The station will, every morning, between 5.30 a.m. and 7 a.m. and every night, between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. appeal basically to the Hausa audience with BBC-style news and current affairs program interspersed with local traditional music.

Between 7a.m. and 8p.m. we will appeal to the young and mobile audience with our top 40 Nigerian/International songs without forgetting a touch of traditional Hausa music.

Programs within this time will be entertaining, informative and educative. Programs around this time will not be as serious as the Hausa morning and evening belt. It will be more relaxed but very interactive.
